Unoffendable: How Just One Change Can Make All of Life BetterThis book was recommended to me by someone in our congregation and it is one of the most challenging, yet helpful, books I’ve read in a long time. The premise of the book is that believers spend an inordinate amount of emotional time and energy taking offense at the perceived slights, foibles, insensitivity, and outright sinfulness of others when most of the time, these things would be better left to God to deal with. The result is often self-righteousness, judgmentalism and lack of faith which result rob us of peace, joy and other fruit of the Spirit. Easy to read. Very thought-provoking. Highly recommended.
